This is a rare and collectible vintage pre Benchmade Balisong Inc Jody Samson butterfly and features the origins of the winning design and build that has made Benchmade famous. If you're looking for a great old butterfly knife with a a Jody Samson blade, this is the one for you. Polished stainless steel handles with green canvas micarta inlays and a T-Latch. Satin finished stainless steel bowie blade forged from thick stock and stamped Bali-Song U.S.A. with the Balisong logo. Made in the 1980's and very hard to find now days. This knife looks to have been flipped and appears to have been expertly sharpened. Also has some very light pitting on the back of the blade. All in all still in great condition and worthy of your collection! This is one of the Bali's that started it all back in the 1980's.
