Great company and great knife!
This review has two parts. 1st part is about the knife, and 2nd is about American edge. The knife surprised me! I, like some, thought is was overpriced and overrated but I am happy to say I am wrong! Do the scales flex? Yes, but in certain situations you need q bit of flex. I was cutting through some really tough cardboard and it gave me no issue! Plus I actually really like the feel and textures of the scales. The weight is really nice! I mean it feels weightless in the pocket. The blade itself is amazing! S30v is a great all around steel! I think as a knife community we get worked up on "this brand is a similar price with 'better' materials" but s30v is an amazing steel! Great all around qnd great edge retention. Love the axis bar, and the knife broke in, in a few days. No stick no play no issue! American edge: why should you buy from here? Because your helping a smaller company with amazing customer services! I mean I called to ask questions and talked right to the owners. They ship super fast and everything comes in fast as well! The only thing is I wish they had a bit more selection but that's not my place! And I know that over head can be very costly. But I love that they are one of the few companies to offer payment plans. This was my first transaction with this company and it's not the last! Already bought a hat and another knife! I'm planning on making this place as much of my 1st go too! Thank you American edge!!
