The inspiration for these fantastic knives come from thousand-year-old remains discovered in excavations, where the lives of Swedish Viking Kings have been told through runes and epic tales. It has been known for over a thousand years that a laminated blade stands for exceptional strength and keenness. Today we can control the laminate at the molecular level for even higher levels of perfection. By adding a resilient, completely pure stainless steel (420J2) on top of a layer of corrosion-resistant VG10 steel, we create a remarkable blade that keeps it's edge extremely well.

Fallkniven Tor Bowie NL1
I have a number of Bowie knives but none of them are in the same league as the NL1. The unique lamination process, the classic design and the incomparable sharpness of the blade right out of the box makes this beautiful knife an investment as well as the best bowie I have ever owned. I would give it 6 stars if I could.
