Heretic Knives Wraith V4 Auto Bowie Red Handle Carbon Fiber Inlay Black Standard Blade AE Exclusive H002-4A-REDCF

I’m writing a second review because I should have given my first one 5 stars but I didn’t. That was wrong. I based that rating on my experience with the button on my heretic wraith glow carbon fiber handled version mostly. I had just gotten that right before getting this one. I didn’t realize how the button was designed. If you don’t click it dead straight, it will stick. With my glow carbon fiber one, it even managed to fly out of my hands the first time I ever used it and cut a hole in my 700 dollar chair. I was pretty frustrated with that, I still don’t even understand how the knife managed to fire. I clicked it, it froze down and acted like it wasn’t going to do anything. I decided to take my hand off a secure grip to inspect it, it fired. This knife fires harder than any other out the side automatic I’ve tried. Someone unfamiliar with it, should take those words with caution. I wish someone warned me about the button prior to using my heretic wraith the first time. None of that is American edges fault/problem. American edge is awesome

This knife is phenomenal all around, except for the button. The button is poorly done in my opinion, that seems to be how they are on the heretic wraith v4 though. My guess is Anthony Marfione Jr took offense to Metal Complex calling his last gen ots wraith weak, so he set out to prove something. I don’t believe this knife was thoroughly tested/reviewed, I don’t see how/why they put it out with the button being as hard to operate as it is. It sticks and you have to click it straight on or you’re risking it sticking more. My glow carbon fiber one is a lot worse. I’ve heard Anthony Marfione Jr say he makes stuff to show off right before blade show, I’d guess this is a product of that. Heretic isn’t know to give proper warnings about what they’re selling you either. My heretic Hyperion came with no instructions or a charger. Who else does that selling a high end electronic? I didn’t want to complain because American Edge is awesome and I greatly appreciate them, but this is how I honestly feel about the knife. I feel like me not putting that out there would be covering it up.

This thing is great! Kicks like a Protech, feels fantastic in hand, looks badass, and the build quality and value are phenomenal.

This knife is awesome! The quality and craftsmanship is phenomenal. Definitely an EDC knife. And the Deadpool color scheme is super cool.

An absolutley gorgeous knifey from HERETIC made for AE. The beautiful Bowie blade in Magnacut, the fantastic snap and overall appearance made this baby something to cherish. The only thing I don’t like is the odd and unpredictable push button deployment. Something is amiss. I’m hoping it corrects itself in time.

I absolutely can’t say enough great things about this American Edge Exclusive Heretic Wraith V4. The Deadpool color scheme is amazing and the knife itself is out of this world! One of the hardest hitting autos I’ve ever felt, amazing bowie blade in magnacut that came razor sharp and the overall quality and feel is second to none. I highly recommend everyone checking out one of these amazing exclusive versions and I’ve been loving carrying and using mine.
