The Lander Fast Swap Scales, are designed to allow for the scales of the knives to be swapped out and customized without having to fully disasemmble the knife itself.
You've got the near side of the moon on the front scale and the far side of the moon on the back. The image is from the NASA Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter. The images that comprise this mosaic were collected over a two-week period in mid-December 2010. Since G10 is a forgiving material that is easy to work with, you can practice dremmeling in your rock textures, dye them, etc.!
