The Liong Mah Design Lanny is a compact modern knife inspired by a Tony Bose traditional Lanny's Clip design. It has been adapted it into something for today's EDC market with modern materials and a Liong Mah styled blade.
This Lanny sports a more subtle clip point and a compound grind that is as functional as it is beautiful. The flat ground tip provides strength at the point while the hollow ground primary edge offers high end slicing performance. The CPM-S35VN blade delivers high level wear and corrosion resistance with enhanced toughness. Dual grooves add to the classic look while jimping on the spine provides traction and a comfortable thumb rest during powerful cuts. The action is fast and smooth on a ceramic bearing pivot. The blade is hand ground and has a hand rubbed satin finish. This knife in all of its configurations was limited to only 175 pieces and is already becoming hard to find.
The Lanny is built on a Titanium bolster lock construction with a wire wheel finish. The bolsters are fitted perfectly with dovetailed Green Canvas Micarta scales. Gold anodized titanium hardware and a sleek 3D machined, wire wheel finished reversible titanium pocket clip for tip up carry. Lanyard hole. Designed by Liong Mah and built to the tightest tolerances with some of the best fit & finish in the industry by Reate Knives. This knife is phenomenal and I cannot say enough good things about it.
