Marbles Gut Hook Game Getter
Proudly Made in the USA

Many of our customers would like to know a little bit more about cocobolo wood - here we go:
Cocobolo wood is fine textured and oily in look and feel. The wood has excellent working characteristics and the natural oils give the wood a smooth luster. Cocobolo wood is durable and strong, it can be turned, planed, drilled and milled without chipping. It is twice the weight of Walnut, and is so dense it does not absorb water (it will not float!). Because of its scarcity and high value, it is used for its rare beauty, rather than for its extreme strength or durability.

Cocobolo wood is harvested mainly in Costa Rica from trees that are 80 to 100 years old and have matured on private fincas (plantations). Cocobolo is one of the true tropical rosewoods and it's colors range from a beautiful, rich, dark brick red, to reddish or dark brown. Cocobolo wood is second only to Ironwood in hardwood density. Rest assured that a knife with cocobolo handles will increase in value over time because of the scarcity of this gorgeous hardwood.

This gorgeous Marbles knife feels like an extension of your hand with its contoured cocobolo wood handle and brass guard. 8-3/4 overall with a 4-1/2 high carbon steel blade, spine is 3/16 thick which makes this one stout little skinner. Comes with brown leather Marbles sheath.

Features:
Blade Material: High Carbon Steel
Handle Material: Cocobolo Wood
Blade Length: 4-1/2
Overall Length: 8-3/4
Weight: 5.1 oz
