*Bearings are from TiConnector and are now Ceramic with a Delrin Cage
*Standoffs are now threaded and now have shoulders that fit into counterbores, making them act as locating pins to hold everything together better
*Upgraded milled pocket clip
The Perfomance Machined MAC 2 is an excellent choice for a functional EDC knife. Ergonomic titanium handle that just melts into the hand. With a hollow ground MaganaCut blade hardened to 63-64 HRC and ground to .006"-.007" before sharpening, this knife is a serious workhorse. Spring itanium pocket clip for tip up carry with excellent retention. Caged bearings make for crisp, pleasant action with the dual thumb studs and the sturdy frame lock is easy to access and disengage. This is the perfect completely USA made mid-tech knife that hits about every category. Use it as your everyday carry (EDC), survival knife, utility knife, tactical knife, or even for hunting!
This model features blue/bronze shockwave titanium handles with an atomic anodized finish. Matte stonewash finished CPM-MagnaCut stainless steel drop point blade with a flat grind. Bead blast finished titanium hardware. Brand new in box.

Update from my last review a week ago: So like I said I really like this knife & gave it 4 instead of 5 stars because of the deployment being a bit strong & about how you had to be a little careful so it doesn’t get your thumb when closing but now I have to give it 5 Stars because it broke in real nice with the deployment being easier which I knew it would, & with the closing, well I found the sweet spots by just fidgeting with it. Liking this Beauty more & more each day & so glad I picked it up. Thanks again to American Edge for a wonderful experience?

So I’ll start off by saying I’ve been wanting this particular piece for almost a year & finally got it. Very happy with this beautiful piece of Steel/Titanium & the Blue/Bronze is just gorgeous! Love the stonewashed Magnacut steel & the blade shape with its big belly. Action is very nice. I just wish the deployment was a bit easier to release, but it’s a Big Boy Knife so it’s fine & you have to watch out when closing it cause it’ll get your thumb if you’re not careful. You just need to get used to it just like everything else in life. Great piece of tool from a great company American Edge with fast shipping, great prices, & their customer service is on point. I gave it a 4 star because of it’s hard deployment & the closing is a bit tricky, but overall very happy with my purchase & highly recommend. Thank you American Edge!
