Microtech LUDT Auto Tan Stonewash Serrated 135-11TA
The L.U.D.T. is the large version of the Underwater Demolition Team knife. It led its way into the knife market in the mid-1990s and quickly became one of the fastest selling knives in Microtech's history. Over the years the L.U.D.T. has been shaped and changed to fit in the ever-changing market. The L.U.D.T. was discontinued from Microtech's lineup not too long ago and now it is back and better than before!
This model features a grooved tan anodized 6061-T6 aluminum handle. Stonewash finished M390 stainless steel drop point blade with a partially serrated cutting edge. Lanyard hole with nylon lanyard. Bead blasted hardware and pocket clip. The blade is marked with the model information and Microtech logo. The pocket clip is also marked with the Microtech logo. An excellent choice for an EDC! Brand new in box.

My favorite modern knife from my favorite shop!
The LUDT makes sense. It is a light yet robust knife to carry in your pocket. The mechanism to spring the blade open is amazing. The blade swings open assertively and securely. The grind on the blade is the best on any “tactical” knife, as it allows to slice easily. The edge is ground perfectly and maximizes the qualities of the great M390 steel. The LUDT with a M390 blade holds an edge like very few other knives do. The LUDT is my favorite modern knife. And AE is my favorite internet knife provider. Customer service is the best on the www. Jordan responds promptly, precisely and is always willing to help. I fully recommend AE and the LUDT.
