Worth the Wait
I own a handful of mid to high end knives, from Bark River to Chris Reeve. I’ve wanted a Socom for awhile, but I’m the kind of guy that resists the secondary market for a number of reasons. So I was excited for the 2018 Socom release. Got it this week, and this knife lives up to the hype. The deployment is unimaginably smooth. It’s got great detente and incredible ergonomics for a number of grips. I’ve always dug aluminum handles, and these are robust enough to balance the hard use/tactical blade. And let’s face it, it looks friggin cool. At $275, this knife a serious no brainer.
