Nice old ebony wood handle scales. High carbon steel swedged clip point blade with long match striker nail pull and wharncliffe pen blade. Both blades have good strong open, close, and half snap. The knife has some pitting that really put a history behind this knife. Brass liners. Nickel silver bolsters, handle pins, and inlaid shield. Great antique pocket knife that was proudly made in Walden, New York U.S.A. by the New York Knife Company circa 1856 to 1931.
