This knife has a simple yet sophisticated design. Beautiful ivory micarta handle scales with a nice scrimshaw scene of a wolf howling at the moon. Brass handle pins. Full tapered tang with black liners between the tang and scales. This knife was forged from 3/16 stock. Mirror polished 154-CM stainless steel drop point hunting blade. Finger choil for excellent grip. The tang is stamped R.B. JOHNSON - #7 of 10 1978 Call of the Wild. This is a gorgeous early vintage R.B. Johnson custom hunter made in 1978. This is number #7 of only 10 made ever. Comes mint with handmade form fitted leather belt sheath that has an 1876 US silver dime in the top corner.
