Description
Spyderco Endura 4 Lock Back Zome Camo FRN Handle Satin Blade C10ZFPDCMO
First introduced in 1990, the groundbreaking Endura design was instrumental in pioneering the concept of lightweight, injection molded folding knife handles. Now in its fourth generation of design evolution, the highly evolved Endura 4 Lightweight has inspired numerous variations and is a natural platform for Exclusive projects.
The defining feature of this elite version of the Endura is its desert camouflage Zome handle. Zome (pronounced "zoh-may") is a class of traditional Japanese handicrafts that specializes in dyeing textiles. Inspired by this rich cultural and artistic heritage, the injection molded fiberglass reinforced nylon (FRN) handles of Spyderco's Zome knives are molded in a light base color and then individually hand dyed by expert Japanese artisans. Using a technique reminiscent of classical hiki zome (brush dyeing), darker colors of dye are hand brushed onto the handle to create distinctive, one of a kind patterns. In this case, the color palette and pattern replicate military desert camouflage.
All other features of this remarkable knife are consistent with the time tested standard versions of the Endura, including a full flat ground blade crafted from VG-10 stainless steel, a sturdy back lock mechanism, and a four position hourglass pocket clip that supports all possible carry configurations.
A truly distinctive expression of the Endura 4 Lightweight, this Exclusive knife is sure to become a highly prized collector's item. Brand new in box.
