J.D. Smith, a long standing knife makers guild member designed a tactical folder for himself which used advanced materials and looked incredible. This evolved naturally into the Spyderco C58 J.D. Smith ClipIt. This is a limited sprint run of the knife with a deep Foliage Green G-10 handle. If you are a fan of J.D. Smith then this would make a great commemorative knife to own, and to use. Spyderco has positioned the thumb hole deep into the blade on this knife, so that the overall appearance is more streamlined. It features a 4 way ambidextrous pocket clip so it can be carried left or right handed, tip up or tip down. The blade is VG-10 stainless steel, with a satin finish and plain edge. The handle is almost 5 inches long and benefits from a good deep finger choil to aid grip and prevent slippage onto the blade. At 7 inches in overall length it is a mean party animal, and with it's lock back mechanism you won't mind using it ferociously as it follows your every lead, doing what you ask. New in box.
