This limited edition Sprint Run expression of the Manbug showcases Carpenter Technology’s Micro Melt PD#1, an air hardening, cold work die steel specially formulated to offer both superior wear resistance and toughness. Its advanced alloy composition is further enhanced by the CarTech Micro Melt powder metal process, which ensures an ultra fine, extremely homogeneous grain structure. Functionally equivalent to CPM CRU-WEAR, this high performance steel is the heart of this knife’s full flat ground PlainEdge blade. To make this elite Manbug even more distinctive, its blade is cloaked in a non reflective titanium carbonitride (TiCN) coating and its fiberglass reinforced nylon (FRN) handle is injection molded in a deep burgundy color. Consistent with this stunning black and burgundy theme, its lock bar and handle hardware also sport durable black coatings. Brand new in box.
